In just a few months The Spa Room will celebrate 8 years of serving and being supported by our client community. Eight years, wow! As the year ends – and that auspicious date approaches – I have been reflecting on the mission of The Spa Room, our core values, and how they are relevant in 2017/2018.
Fundamental to The Spa Room are the intentions to educate and to build community – both of which can be enhanced by an increased commitment to using all of the communication channels available to us today. To that end, I’ve set a goal of blogging and increasing our social media presence starting with a new twitter account!
In the short term, we will be doing some give aways to celebrate the holidays and build some excitement around giving us your attention:) We won’t stay there though!!! My hope is that we can get the momentum started for an authentic online forum with substance. Wouldn’t that be interesting?

1. To disseminate information about the latest research findings on body mind methods.
2. To share self care tips and practices to support a daily practice of moving through our lives with presence and self-love.
3. To communicate logistics about schedule changes and last minute openings
4. To Dialogue about community needs as we enter into 2018
5. To my research into Ayurvedic and Yogic practices
6. To communicate about fundraising efforts to support The Spa Room’s operational budget and community projects
7. To build community by sharing events by other wellness practitioners and artists
