Couples Massage 101: Loving Kindness Through Touch

Click Book your Massage 101 Session Now–  or  Purchase a Massage 101 Gift Certificate

Deepen your relationship and develop healthy stress reduction habits at home! Beyond a simple shoulder rub, our massage 101 class is designed to connect you with the innate healing abilities that reside within you. Research shows that massage increases the bonding hormone oxytocin which is beneficial to physical and emotional health. Studies also show that a primary component in healthy relationship is learning to recognize how your partner asks for attention and support. Massage is an opportunity to practice both asking for AND receiving attention/ support in healthy ways.

Single session $250 per couple

You will learn to:

  • Shift your nervous system into a state of rest and digest – the optimal state for connection and healing.
  • Apply pressure with flowing body mechanics so that you enjoy giving massage as much as receiving. No more tired hands!
  • Communicate with your partner so that the pressure is perfect every time
  • Create an on-going self care practice at home
  • Give an amazing relaxation massage

Massage 101 sessions are currently available Friday – Sunday

Weekday evening appointments may be available with special arrangement
