I hope that everybody is enjoying Fall in DC! I just began my third week of a training intensive in The Feldenkrais Method © here in Chicago. This segment we are learning quite a bit about how to organize the upper spine and neck. Wow- this work will change you!! It has been really exciting because I can see how these principles could be easily applied to counteract the neck, shoulder and jaw pain that comes along with long hours of sitting. I can also see the possibilities for unlocking barriers to yoga asana that focus on spinal extension like cobra and upward facing dog. While I’m enjoying my time here, I can’t wait to return home and start sharing these new discoveries with you.
